2013 specialized fsr comp 29er. So when the guys in the demo paddock asked me what i wanted to ride i chose an epic and was given a 2013 specialized epic comp 29 er. Really like the bike. In the specialized line up the ideal bike would have been a camber or maybe that s works fsr stumpjumper. But i had left a bit of a gap in my reporting by not being on an epic at all this week.
This is a trail bike with 110mm travel in the rear and 110 in the front. Epics are 29er only 2. Light on weight but loaded with technology the stumpjumper fsr comp 29er is nimble yet stable efficient but burly and ready for virtually any trail. The 2013 epics are improved once again so we are excited to try them.
Picked up my new specialized stumpjumper fsr comp 29er today. There s no 26ers and no 650b autosag is included on all models there s new. The deore brakes had no modulation and power. Although i like how the bike rides i wouldnt buy it again.
I ve been riding the 2012 specialized epic and have been setting prs on both climbs and descents. Camber is now 29er only. It has the same carbon front triangle as the standard stumpy fsr but with the original evo s alloy rear triangle. Rs revelation is ok when riding xc but when going more aggressive it takes away all the confidence and fun.
